Our latest project is a contemporary new home near Flatford Mill, Suffolk. We will be building using structural insulated panels (SIPs). SIPs technology is the next generation of timber based construction methods.
SIPs panels consist of a high performance insulation core, with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), sandwiched between two layers of Oriented Strand Board type 3.
This project will include ‘A’ rated windows amongst many other green technologies and will, by far, exceed the current building regulations thermal efficiency standard and The Code for Sustainable Homes, very nearly achieving passive house standards.
